Sutra, Tantra and Ati

The Indian media is back trying to figure out exactly who is a Hindu. Looks like they and the Indian supreme court have settled on "Hinduism is a way of life." Pity. It would be real nice to have a Hindu defined (not formally but say by the media) as "one who believes that there are different paths to God." That way, those liberal Christians, Jews, Muslims etc. who also believe that there are different paths to God could be considered Hindu. And if you believe that there is only one approach to God, then you are not a Hindu which is also fine.
